Pen-Elayne on the Web and I need your help!
Hey, Y'all
First I wanted to mention that Elyane Riggs is currently kicking ass with her Estrogen Month posts. Let's all follow her example and use our links wisely. Treat them like web currency and invest them where they do the most good.
Now, I need your help. I was reading a post at Shakespeare's Sister and it occurs to me that there's an unproven assumption going around, which is that male liberal political bloggers outnumber female liberal political bloggers. There's even doubt that more blogs are owned men than women, but that may be the case. There are a lot of blogs that deal with IT and industries - though there are a lot of young girls with Live Journals that balance that out. Our interest, though, is Liberal Male Political Bloggers.
SO chime in and help me come up with a list. Leave yours in comments - names only, please, no links.

Thanks for the plug, Morgaine! There are plenty of male liberal political bloggers. On my News+Views blogroll, under the Liberal Coalition I have 24 guys and 2 group blogs featuring guys, and under Da Guys (non-LC folks) I count 58 guys. There are also guys involved in most of the duo-blogs and group blogs I list. On my blogroll it's probably running about 50/50 now in terms of gender breakdown, but that reflects personal taste rather than what's actually out there. My hunch is that the actual gender breakdown is probably more like 65/35 in favor of guys, but that's just a guess reflecting on the relatively narrow subject matter (it's been my experience that the women bloggers I read don't limit themselves in subject as much as the guys seem to).
Morgaine, this is a great idea, let's REALLY see what's what. Here's a few more for the list:
Jim Capozzola
Seeing the Forest (group)
Digby
Michael Bérubé
Chris Clarke
Greg (the Talent Show)
Legal Fiction
Total Information Awareness
Crush All Boxes
Science And Politics
Arran's Alley
Bunch of bloggers in the Progressive Blog Alliance
Many semi-finalists of the Koufax Awards....
Me.
Dave Golbitz - I don't blog only about politics, but when I do, I'm about as liberal as they come.
Also, there's a great writer/blogger, John Rogers, who would definitely belong on this list.
Left Behind Child - Former republican voter, but always with a strong liberal lean (I've always argued that the two are not always mutually exclusive). I'm a social liberal, politial conservative. A bastard child in the blogospere I guess. My conservative friends feel I'm a total lefty, so I guess it all a matter of perspective.
Well, there's PSoTD.
There's me (Musing's musings). And not-me Michael at Here's What's Left (co-written with his s/o Heather). There's oyster (Your Right Hand Thief), Ian McGibboney (Not Right About Anything), Zac (Zac Attack), upyernoz (Rubber Hose), ArchPundit, WindyCityLefty, Dan Johnson-Weinberger (DJWInfo), Eric Zorn, Sid the Fish (Sid's Fishbowl), Guy Andrew Hall (Rook's Rant), Bryan (Why Now?), Steve Bates (Yellow Doggerel Democrat). And that's just off the top of my head and the top of my bookmarks list.
Oops. Forgot Tarek, Shawn, Aaron, and Oliver (all at The Liquid List)
Oh, and andante is a lady--at least if it's andante of Collective Sigh we're talking about. There's a Mr. Andante in the picture, but he doesn't have his own blog--at least that I know about.
Thanks for the help, Michael. I incorporated the ones that you gave me, and made the correction on Andante.
A few liberal guys that I know:
Mike from Comments from Left Field
Greenegs from Daily Fry
Cranky Liberal from The Cranky Liberal Pages
You'll find two progressive women bloggers and one male over at http:/www.lightupthedarkness.org/blog/
Me!

My name is John, I am a liberal male, and I blog.

Good point, and you're right - I'm a guy. And there are a lot of women out here on our left side of the blogosphere (can't think of many on the right, but I try to stay out of Freeperville; those folks are armed.)
Forgot to mention, you might want to add Carol Harvey's Ask Why blog to the rolls.
Thanks for the plug; I am very proud of my blog. Believing as I do that one good turn deserves another, I wish to balance myself out gender-wise by mentioning Flamingo Jones' "Off-the-Cuff, Off-the-Record, Off-the-Wall" (http://flamingojones.blogspot.com/). Great list here!
