Morgaine,
I found your site through SD's post, and wrote about it a little, too. (http://dailytroll.com/?p=438)
She suggested I comment to you about the one problem I had with it - no uterus, no opinion. Mine doesn't work anymore, but I still believe in the importance of reproductive and sexual freedom outside of government control, and am willing to fight for them. To me, it's a core human rights issue and needs the support of all women, not just those able to reproduce.
Do you see a place for older women in your movement?
Terry
Hi, Terry-
There's absolutely a place in the movement for older women. We need their wisdom and their experience!
That phrase is intended to address men. Anyone who has ever had a uterus knows what it's like. If it wouldn't freak people out even more, a more accurate saying would have been "no pussy, no opinion" but I want to be strong, not offensive.
You're still a sexual being, and you're still a woman - don't let the technicalities get in the way - we need you!
Thanks so much, Morgaine.
I do like No Pussy, no opinion" but the call is yours. You're doing great work, and I'm behind you all the way.
