Forget all the bullshit you're hearing about who won the debate. Dennis walked away with it. Listen to these answers. If you're a Progressive, this is your candidate. Everyone else represents some form of compromise.
Dennis will get us out of Iraq, out of NAFTA and WTO, everyone will get health care, he'll protect Social Security. He'll make workers rights and Green values a priority. He understands that Choice is essential to women's rights. He has bills in Congress RIGHT NOW that would create millions of new jobs rebuilding our infrastructure, provide Health Coverage for every American with a universal, not-for-profit, system, Impeach Dick Cheney.
Don't believe the lie that he's "unelectable" - the power structure wants you to think that so you'll support a candidate that will play their game, their way. If you want a president that will care about you, your life, your job, your family, Kucinich is the only choice.

Morgaine, I agonize over this issue every election -- do I go with the candidate I really want, or the one I think can win enough independent votes to put us over the top?
I'm liking Dennis more and more. Am VERY disillusioned with HRC. Her "I'm your girl" comment was the last straw for me. I felt she was trying to distance herself from being feminist. "I'm just a harmless girl..." was the message, the only thing missing was the batting of eyelashes.
Kuchinich seems authentic and is where I am on most issues (or seems to be...I'm getting really cynical...)
As far as backing a candidate that is "electable," I think we should forget about that, at least this early on, and back the person we LIKE. The way it looks now, just about ANY Democrat will beat any Republican, so you might as well try for something (someone) you really want for a change.
Dennis has more relaxed lately and been showing his sense of humor and should keep that up!
