More information on the Christian terrorists. The "mastermind" was a fanatical ROTC student named Mark David Uhl. He couldn't wait to kill for "god." His target, it turns out, was the family of the odious Fred Phelps, who planned to picket Falwell's funeral with his "god hates fags" circus. Obviously, I loathe Phelps, but we really have to move away from this idea that throwing a bomb is ever a good thing to do. People who are so sure of a privileged afterlife that they don't care about dying need to go ahead and eat their guns. Why put off paradise by sticking around here with us heathens? And why take a chance of missing your ticket to heaven by killing the wrong person? You go on ahead, and we'll catch up later.
