The Heretik: NO WOMAN, NO CRY: CINDY SHEEHAN

The Heretik has a great post there about Cindy Sheehan, the courageous mother of a slain soldier who is on a hunger strike outside Bush's ranch in Crawford. I'm paralyzed with anger about this, so I haven't written much about it yet. I'd give anything to be able to go down there with them. I thank everyone who is there, and on their way down there.

I just can't believe that we have allowed such an unmitigated COWARD to inhabit the White House. This whole presidency has been a bad dream. A deserter. A coke-head and a drunk. A first caliber liar and a bleeding asshole who thinks he has a mandate from the Almighty. These people have undermined the core of our democracy. They're ripping the Constitution to threads, putting radical Christians in charge of important media outlets, outing spies, destroying people - even people on their own side like John McCain. They have no honor, no decency and no balls.

I'm sick of this clown spitting on America. If he had any backbone at all, he'd have walked out to the gate and talked to this woman YESTERDAY. Any result from here on in only adds to the hatred of him. If that Son of a Bush has that woman arrested, he's not fit for citizenship, let alone to inhabit the White House.

Do you realize that if the only chance we have of getting our democracy back is that Grand Jury in Chicago?! Has anyone got a contact at a news paper there? Would it do any good if we placed an ad begging them to get on with it, before Fitzgerald gets demoted, or otherwise disposed of? Is there any place we can appeal to that would do any good?

People keep saying it doesn't do any good to lobby the media, but it does have an impact. We have to get this story front and center on the news and we have to get the Plame case front and center again. We're giving Karl Rove too much time to think. We need to lean on that MF hard, before the new Taliban at the FCC closes us down.
