CNN.com - Bush asked to explain UK war memo - May 12, 2005

Eighty-nine Democratic members of the U.S. Congress last week sent President George W. Bush a letter asking for explanation of a secret British memo that said 'intelligence and facts were being fixed' to support the Iraq war in mid-2002."

I'd like to take this as a sign of life in the Democratic party, but they've gotten my hopes up before only to then roll over for some Republican atrocity or other. Unless somebody produces video of Blair actually blowing Bush, nothing will come of this. These idiots voted to give him more money for this illegal war in spite of the fact that 8.8 million dollars are unaccounted for and Halliburton continues to overcharge for their services.

Somebody actually gave Halliburton a bonus! There is nobody in charge in Washington, or Halliburton would have their contracts pulled and be under investigation for war profiteering.
