• The Patriot Act has gutted our rights. It has already been used to prosecute non-terrorism related crimes.


• Our Government is keeping “ghost prisoners” hidden from the Red Cross and committing torture.


• We’ve killed 20-30,000 Iraqi civilians for no reason whatsoever.


• 1075 soldiers dead, over 28,150 maimed, most of whom are your age or younger.


• The RNC has its own little Ministry of Truth in the form of Fox News and Sinclair Broadcasting and even the talking heads on your network parrot RNC talking Points even when they’re false, so there goes your Free Press.

Your tax dollars are being funneled to Right Wing Extremists thanks to Bush’s executive order for “faith-based initiatives”. Your Freedom of religion is on its way out the door. Mine, since I’m not Christian, is gone because the president says my religion is not a religion.

• Pay Equity for women is losing ground.


• We have more poor people today than four years ago.


• There are 3 Million homeless children in this country, but the richest 2% got a tax break. Let them eat cake!


• Bush’s policies are killing women all over the world because he withheld funding for family planning in the third world, guaranteeing the continued spread of AIDS and starvation.


• He has appointed reactionary judges that he couldn’t get confirmed in congress, there by undoing those beloved checks and balances.


• American Women will die unnecessary deaths if they undo your right to a legal abortion. Are you incapable of controlling your body the way a man is? They think so. Better hope you don’t get raped in George Bush’s America. A drugged teen was brutally gang-raped by a bunch of boys who video taped the torture, and they were not convicted.


• There are millions of people with no jobs (thanks, George), no welfare (thanks, Bill) and no unemployment (thanks, Republican Control Congress).


• An RNC operative has been collecting signatures for Ralph Nader and throwing away Democratic voter registrations in at least three states, and probably more. The guys who build the voting machines have promised to deliver the election for Bush, and there is no transparency or paper trail to protect our votes. Voter intimidation has already started in minority communities in Florida. So much for our democracy.

Yeah, I guess a rich, white college girl in America with a plum job at MSNBC is pretty “GD Lucky”. The rest of us aren’t doing so well.
