Sco-Lo's to the Rescue

This was a rough day. At the end of the night last night, someone had, I thought, deliberately tried to make me look bad in front of Thea and her publicist. All is forgiven and forgotten now, and the only reason I bring it up is because I want to tell you what a special group the people at ScottLowell.com are. I was in a foreign country with people I barely knew. I couldn't call my family and I couldn't get my best friend on the phone. The rest of the group went out, but I just couldn't. I really needed someone who would understand what I was feeling, so I sent a PM to Gayla on Sco-Lo's forum and I called Stephanie whom I had met the night before. They were amazing.

Stephanie talked to me and got me focused on the rest of the trip. Gayla called me from South Carolina - this was the first time we had ever talked - and talked to me for about 2 hours. She was kind, understanding, supportive. She chanted the magic words "You met Gale..." until I felt better. By the time my friends got home, the crisis was over and I was ready to complete my QAF experience happily.

Scott's group is special and I just wanted to take this opportunity to give him and them their props. If you are a QAF fan of any sort, it's THE safest spot on the web to share the love.
